*      Amanson: I would like tonight to speak about the Christ, that which indwells all, and was exemplified – lived whole-Heartedly – in one man and everyone knows who that man is. I don’t deem it necessary to even speak His name, as the man, His inimitable greatness, is secondary to the mission He espoused: the revelation of the Christ, that Beyond-All Power He will be forever identified with. But the point is the power. And He (and I know Him personally and can assure you that this is so) would be the first to tell you this. “Believe less in me, more with me.” I have been given leave to assure you as well that this is the message. His message.

“The kingdom of Heaven is within you.” “Be still and know that I am God.” “Go in your closet to pray.” These all tell of the self-same phenomenon – God has placed a Living Connection to Himself within the consciousness of each and every human being and it is time they all knew it and took advantage of such a moving Miracle. What cannot be done when one has God on one’s side? And what could not be done when we each have God within us? How close to “on your side” do you want Him!? And this piece of Peace, this Acting Prayer, is called the Christ.  Turn within, hold out your hand, introduce yourself, and claim It! Of course, introductions are entirely unnecessary – you are a known quantity to God, which is to say the Living Christ within you. It is He that has brought you this far, however far that is. Now consciously join forces and see how quickly, evenly, and joyously you are propelled. A sleigh ride is nothing to the holy adventure He awaits to take you on once you sign up. The church roster is one thing – but it so often is a tepid, timid ride. It will do for those less adventurous souls. But to turn away from convention and to the Living God within – that calls for the fastening of seat belts. Let the games begin!

And let Love speak of the Christ to you in its own angelic way. You were born to behold It. It is indeed your birthright. Amen.
