There are many shifting currents on your world and it is easy to have your anchor or roots dislodged by the various difficulties, crises, concerning items of news, and the like, but the re-grounding alluded to this evening is an important step in recognizing what is going on about you, but not becoming swayed to the point in which it disturbs your own sense of connection and alignment with reality and the sensitivities you have developed to truth, beauty, and goodness.  As our Creator has said, there is no promise in spiritual awakening and joining the path of righteousness, that you will not have to suffer difficulties within the many competing realities of life.  The promise, of course, is that he would go with you through them.  

With this said, there is a set of practices that help to bring you into alignment so that you can react most favorably to the circumstances you find yourself in.  We preach the stillness, yes.  It is a primary activity.  When it is prayerful it is seeking; when it is worshipful it is being in the presence for no other reason than because it feels right.  Attendant with these practices is the necessary understanding that transformation begins with you.  Your awareness of how you will be, becomes more efficient (or sufficient) when recognizing that your success in spiritual development loses grounding when focused on all that is happening out in the world without having or coming from that centered place within.  As agents of change, of transformation, you are most successful when being in the world but not of the world.  

It is true that to a casual observer, horrific things are occurring and activities can seem unfair, unjust, and that there is no cohesion that could manifest to bring about the shifting that needs to occur to realize a brighter, more enlightened path.  But as a child of God, centered in that reality, the focus is less on the observance of these disparities from a place of dismay or despair, and more on what actions you can take.  How can you apply your effort in a way that shifts the current, at least in your vicinity, toward different perspectives? 

Yes, it is a challenging time, but it is not unforeseen, and we have been about the business of developing energy points to address these challenges.  You are among those energy points, and we are grateful that you have accepted the opportunity to participate in cooperation with your unseen friends, to not only grow and learn for yourself what is right and true, to adjust and become more aligned, but to also ask how you can be of benefit and trust that we are working to answer these questions for you.

Your ability to have faith in the unseen is a real achievement in a time when the developments have led toward more secularization.  From a human animalistic standpoint, it would be easy not to believe.  But you are not merely animals riding out your existence until it meets its end.  You have engaged the spiritual possibilities and are developing the soul vehicle which will carry you into eternity.  When you doubt or question or become frightened, know that we recognize this as momentary flashes of a fledgling spirit and not the troubling trends of that which leads to nothingness or annihilation.

I believe that some of you, even lately, have had the opportunity, even in your questioning or hurt, to find answers and to have renewed faith that goodness is possible, and that good things can happen even in a chaotic and sometimes troubled environment.  Trust that we are with you and as you each spend time listening within and asking those questions, we will answer.  Your Creator will answer from within, as will the influences of this Spirit that surrounds you.  We want you to know that you are part of us.  We want you to know that you are not alone.  We want you to know that source of power within you is real and not just something to occasionally bump up against.  You are destined to merge with the very source of reality that has created all of us and become your own voice for truth.  We are not here to circumvent this.  This is the purpose.

But as we have seen and you have seen, our universe has areas that need to be addressed and so we seek to encourage you to focus on what is important each day for you to do, and not to be overly distracted by the “howling winds” and “the wailing and gnashing of teeth.”  As the poet/musician said, “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.” - that primary purpose to know that everything changes as each individual recognizes their own core or purpose to manifest from within.
